EX ANTE CONDITIONALITIES FOR PERIOD 2014 – 2020

Ex ante conditionalities (EAC) are a new element in the implementation of projects during the 2014-200 Programming Period, introduced by the European Commission (EC) in order to ensure effective and efficient use of EU financial support in Member States. EAC is a set of comprehensive measures which require development of new national strategies, policies and also the amendment of relevant legislation.

The National strategy for Transport (ie. MASTERPLAN) is a key ex ante conditionality for the transport sector, approved by Government Resolution No. 13, dated 11 January 2017.
