INFORMATISATION
Informatisation of society is a long-term process which aims to build a competitive European economy based on innovation and knowledge in Slovakia. This means building a modern, citizen-oriented and efficiently electronised public administration. It also strives to create high-quality digital content and enable access to broadband Internet and services for every citizen, including the elderly, disabled and socially disadvantaged citizens. Priority Axis 7 of the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure covers the field of informatisation with € 947,666,768 (EU funds + state budget) allocated. The Intermediate Body for this area is the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Investments and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic.
