PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY

Support for specific types of sustainable transport has to be mutually coordinated, it also has to be preceded by a thorough analysis of the current situation. Based on experience gained from abroad, the European Union in 2014 financed a publication called Guidelines for Developing and Implementating Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans. In 2015, the guidelines were accompanied by instructions on developing sustainable urban mobility plans for polycentric regions. The Ministry of Transport has processed and simplified these documents, adding the Slovak legislative framework.
